There’s your headliner. We are in a very interesting place in the wrestling world at the moment as AEW has shaken things up. Not only are they doing fairly well on their own, but they are bringing some other promotions up with them just by name association alone. Next month, that association will go beyond name value and move into an actual match, which could be quite good.

Last week, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega appeared on Impact Wrestling, sitting in a bus with his associate Don Callis. Omega suggested that he would be around more often in the future and might even be going after the Impact Wrestling World Title to add to his collection. He was back again the next week and while he isn’t going after the title, he is going after the champion and some other people are involved as well.

This week on Impact Wrestling, Omega attacked Impact World Champion Rich Swann to end the show. Swann and the Motor City Machine Guns had been in a fight with the Good Brothers when Omega got involved. Callis, an Impact Wrestling executive, made a six man tag between the two groups for Hard To Kill on January 16. This will be Omega’s first ever match with Impact Wrestling.

It was a big night. Check out how the match was set up:

Opinion: Works for me. This is the kind of thing that could draw some interest to Impact Wrestling and that’s a good result. Omega sitting on a bus talking isn’t a big deal, but him getting in the ring for a pay per view match certainly is. Odds are this is the show’s main event and that’s where Omega should be if he is going to be wrestling on the pay per view. I’m interested by this and that’s always a good thing to be able to say.

What do you think of the match? How do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
