Please don’t be bad. Wrestling is a dangerous sport and there is only so much that can be done about it. No matter how much training or skill a wrestler may have, there is always the chance that someone could get hurt in the blink of an eye. That could be the case due to all kinds of things and unfortunately that was the case this weekend, as a match had to be called off.
According to F4WOnline.com, NXT’s Tatum Paxley was injured during a match over the weekend against Sloane Jacobs. While not confirmed, the injury seemed to take place when Paxley was kicked in the face, sending her head first into the post. The match was stopped with Paley bleeding. Paxley would later post to Twitter, saying that she will be ok and thanking the fans for their concern. There is no word on if Paxley will miss any ring time.

#NXTGainesville Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of @TatumPaxley in action due to an injury. Hopefully it's not too serious. Special thanks to the official for quickly calling off the match. pic.twitter.com/5FmOiN7XHu

Thank you everyone for reaching out and checking in!? I’ll be ok! Accidents like these happen all the time in what we do.
Plus getting blood everywhere is super heavy metal ???— Pax (@TatumPaxley) August 7, 2022
Opinion: Hopefully nothing is too bad here as Paxley being injured would slow down a lot of the momentum that she had built up. Paxley is one of several women who are coming up through NXT and she is starting to showcase herself a little bit. She is a young and talented star and it would be a shame to see her put on the shelf for any reason, especially what seems to have been a fluke accident.
What do you think of Paxley? What can she do in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
