It’s the next logical step. Last week’s Monday Night Raw saw one of the more controversial angles in a good while. A wedding is something that is always going to draw some interest in wrestling and that’s what took place last week. Bobby Lashley and Lana were trying to get married when several people, including Liv Morgan and Rusev, interfered. It was a big deal and the fans were interested, but now we need to find out what is next.

Part of the problem with a big angle like the wedding is how to follow up. The ending of the show was pretty controversial and WWE has a tendency to let the foot off the gas when people get that interested for perhaps the wrong reasons. They can only do so much before going further than its fans are comfortable with and that’s what brought us to this week’s show.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Lana and Lashley got married in a fast ceremony, with the same minister from last week officiating. With that out of the way, Lana complained about Rusev, who appeared on screen, saying he was on Lana and Lashley’s honeymoon for them. A match was set up between Lashley and Rusev for next week, with Liv Morgan appearing later in the show to say that she would be in Rusev’s corner. Neither Lashley, Lana or Rusev referenced Morgan during their segment.

It was a big night. Check out what happened, plus how Morgan got involved in the whole thing:

Opinion: I was relieved to see Morgan pop up later in the show as I was worried that they were just going to drop things before it got too controversial. That being said, it wouldn’t shock me to see WWE skip over the Morgan/Lana relationship for the sake of not going too far with things, which has been their response before. You can probably pencil in a mixed tag for the Royal Rumble and that…could be scary.
