What could have been. There are certain personalities in wrestling who stand head and shoulders above the rest. Those people get attention no matter what they are doing and it can be quite the experience to go back and look at what those people have done throughout their careers. That is what we did this week and it turns out that there was quite more of a story to tell.

Earlier this week, a six part documentary on Vince McMahon debuted on Netflix, totaling about six hours of content. During a recent edition of the Bill Simmons Podcast, Simmons, an executive producer of the McMahon documentary, said that there were four hours of interviews with McMahon left out of the finished documentary. One day of interviews was left out due to McMahon’s voice failing. There is no word on if the additional footage will ever air elsewhere.

Opinion: This should not come as a surprise, as these long form documentaries, which are centered around sitdown interviews, have to be cut down to a manageable extent. That means there are going to be quite a few things that have to be left out and some of it can be quite interesting. I could go for seeing more from the interviews with McMahon, as what we got was already interesting enough.
