Continuing a tradition. WrestleMania 36 is coming up a lot sooner than you might realize. We are less than two and a half months away from the biggest show of the year and that means we are in for the start of the build in the coming weeks. That means we are in for a lot of major announcements because there is a lot to cover and not a lot of time to do it. One thing has already been covered though.

One of the few constants over the history of WrestleMania has been the inclusion of celebrities. There were a ton of them back in 1985 for the first WrestleMania, including New York Yankees manager Billy Martin, Liberace, the Rockettes and Muhammad Ali as guest referee for the main event. They have continued ever since, and now we know who one of this year’s celebrities will be.

In a new video posted to his YouTube page, comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is listed as appearing at both WrestleMania and the Monday Night Raw the night after. In addition, Iglesias has multiple dates listed in Tampa, Florida over WrestleMania weekend, though it is not clear in what capacity he will be appearing. According to PWInsider.com, there is a chance that Iglesias could be inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

It’s in black and white. Check out the announcement, which starts at around 6:40 of the video:

Opinion: Celebrities have been a part of WrestleMania for decades now and that is not going to change. At the same time, there are several celebrities who are always popping up on WWE programming and that includes Iglesias. He isn’t likely to be a major part of any show, but it is nice to have someone on there for a little comic relief. Hopefully he can add something, which is entirely possible.
