He might get some attention. There are stars in WWE and then there are stars in WWE. Some of the biggest names the company has ever had are always going to get some kind of attention, just because of how great they have been in the past. That is something WWE certainly loves to capitalize on and a certain tease might hint at the next appearance of such a legend.
John Cena has posted a new image to Instagram, showing the WWE logo. While not confirmed, this could suggest that Cena may be returning to WWE at some point in the future. According to Wrestlinginc.com, Cena will be wrapping up recording on the Peacemaker series in June. This would allow him to possibly be back in WWE for a program at Summerslam.
Cena has mostly left WWE< only appearing for sporadic matches, with his most recent being the Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36. His most recent traditional match came on the January 14, 2019 edition of Monday Night Raw, when he lost a fatal four way match. There is also the chance that this is merely a way to mislead the fans about a possible return.

I would say he can still make an impact. Check out Cena’s better moments:
Opinion: I’ll believe Cena is back when I see it, as he is the kind of star who is not going to have a ton of time left for WWE. Throw in the fact that he has barely wrestled in the last three years and how good is he still going to be? Cena is going to be able to get a lot of things over by pure star and will power, but other than giving a rub to someone, I’m not sure how much he is going to be able to do beyond a match or two.
