John Cena Does Something Very Special This Week

You can see that. While a lot of people might not be big on him, John Cena is one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling and certainly the biggest of this generation. Cena dominated WWE for about ten years and won almost everything that there was to win in that time. While he has moved away from the wrestling world in recent years, Cena still pops up now and then, but now he has one more thing taking up his time.

One of the biggest running storylines on Total Divas and Total Bellas was Cena’s relationship with Nikki Bella. The two of them had been engaged for several months and had planned their wedding, only to call it off at the last minute. Cena had talked about how he wasn’t sure he was ready and nothing ever came of it. Things have changed a bit though, and in a pretty big way.

According to PWInsider.com, Cena married his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday. The two have been together since March 2019 and had reportedly become engaged earlier this year. Cena was previously married from 2009-2012 and has yet to comment on the story. Cena’s most recent match took place at WrestleMania 36 when he lost to Bray Wyatt in the Firefly Fun House match.

Opinion: That’s always great to hear and good for Cena. It isn’t like he has a lot of free time on his hands given his rather hectic schedule so it is great to see that he is getting to do something important like this. I know he isn’t around wrestling nearly as much anymore, but Cena really was one of the best ever and hopefully more people realize that now that he is gone.
