You could see him with a trophy. John Cena has moved into the mainstream acting world and he seems to be doing rather well at it. In addition to the success he’s seen at the box office, a performance he gave has actually been nominated for one of the most prestigious acting awards around.

As announced on WWE.com, Cena has been nominated for an Emmy Award for appearing in a PSA for the No Labels campaign. The ad, which aired premiered on July 4, 2016, talks about the importance for equality regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or ability.

Opinion: Good for him. I know it’s not exactly the same thing as winning an Oscar or being the biggest box office draw in the world but this is certainly a major honor and would look great on Cena’s acting resume. He’s forty years old and while he doesn’t have a lot of years left in the ring, he could have a long, long time left acting if he chooses to do so.
