The hits just keep on coming. Love him or hate him, John Cena is one of the biggest stars in wrestling history and the biggest star of the last fifteen years. He’s done it all in wrestling and while it seems that his career is winding down and he’s moving on to something a little more mainstream, he’s still a huge success. Now it’s just in a field other than the ring.

Cena recently released a children’s book entitled Elbow Grease about a young monster truck. As of Wednesday, the book is a New York Times #1 bestseller. This is Cena’s first book and puts him in an elite group of wrestlers with a book to make the list, a feat first accomplished by Mick Foley. Cena tweeted about the accomplishment and has changed his Twitter bio to highlight the accomplishment:

He still has time for the fans.

John Cena congratulates SmackDown on 1000 episodes: SmackDown 1000, Oct. 16, 2018

Opinion: I know it’s just a children’s picture book, but this is something that very few people can say they’ve accomplished. It’s also a sign of how much Cena can connect with younger fans. How many kids or parents saw Cena’s name on the book and bought it immediately? That’s a very important status to have and something that has made Cena incredibly valuable to WWE over the years.
