A banged up Maharajah? Earlier this week, Jinder Mahal successfully defended his Smackdown World Title against Shinsuke Nakamura on pay per view. It was the latest big win for Mahal, who has held the title for about five months now. However, there might be something about Mahal you don’t see on television.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com, Mahal seems to be working through a shoulder injury. While appearing at a house show in late September, Mahal was seen wearing Kinesio tape on his left shoulder. He hasn’t worn the tape on television, possibly due to WWE not wanting people to see him banged up. Here’s a picture of him at the show from Twitter:

Here’s Mahal in a bit of a better situation:

Opinion: This doesn’t seem to be that big of a deal and it doesn’t seem to be hurting Mahal’s television matches. If he’s still able to work a full time house show schedule and keep the title a few weeks after he was seen taped up, odds are the injury isn’t all that severe in the first place.

What do you think of Mahal? How long do you think he’ll hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
