That’s serious. There are all kinds of health issues in wrestling and some of them are very serious, to the point where they can be life threatening. Occasionally someone will be forced to deal with something rather serious and needs special treatment, which is what happened with a wrestling legend. Thankfully he has a rather positive update on his health status.

AEW’s Jim Ross has announced that he recently underwent cancer surgery on his hip and that “all went well” while thanking fans for their love and support. There is no word on when Ross will be returning to AEW television. Ross had been away from AEW after a fall resulted in a variety of health issues, though he has made sporadic appearances since going on his hiatus.

Opinion: The part about “all went well” is a good sign and hopefully everything goes well for Ross in the future. This is the kind of thing that you never want to see happen and it would be nice to see him back in AEW. Ross is not exactly what he was before but when everything comes together for him, he can still rekindle that magic every so often and that is great to see.
