I’d call that good news. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any given wrestling show and nothing good ever comes from them. You never want to see someone get injured in any way but unfortunately there is no way to guarantee a wrestler’s health. In addition, there are other health issues that can cause a lot of problems. This time though, there is some great news about a bad health situation.

During the latest edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross has announced that he is still cancer free. Ross still has to undergo treatments to heal some burns related to his original cancer treatments. Ross was diagnosed with skin cancer just over a year ago before revealing that he was officially cancer free in December of last year. He missed a few weeks of AEW broadcasting duties due to treatments.

Opinion: That is a great thing to hear as Ross not only got better but now he has been able to maintain that health. Ross is probably the most famous broadcaster in the history of wrestling and it is great to hear that things are continuing to go well for him. I’m not sure what he is going to be doing in AEW, but the fact that he has something so much more important going well is an awesome update.

What do you think of Ross? How can he be best used in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
