It didn’t go well. WWE has long since been the biggest and most extensive wrestling promotion in the world. A wrestler getting to work for them can often be the most important part of their careers but that does not mean it will always go well. Sometimes a wrestler will leave the company and have a less than positive story about their time there. That is what another WWE legend is now saying.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On Top: Update On Rhea Ripley’s Future With WWE

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle appeared on the Not Sam Wrestling show and revealed that he did not feel appreciated during his final in-ring run with WWE. Angle believed that his treatment was due to him leaving WWE for TNA Wrestling back in 2006. Angle praised his TNA run and said that he did his best wrestling there. Following his TNA run, Angle returned to WWE in 2017 and became the Monday Night Raw General Manager and wrestled a handful of matches before his retirement match at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Angle had a nice run. Check out some of his final years in WWE:

Opinion: I can understand what Angle is saying with something like this, but there was only so much that could be done when he was in the physical shape he was in at that point. Angle was physically falling apart and there was a limited amount of options with him. Angle’s final in-ring run could have been a lot worse, but I can also see how it could have been that much better.

What did you think of Angle’s final WWE run? How could he have been better used? Let us know in the comments below.
