On the calendar. WWE presents a variety of specials every year, some of which are aired as Premium Live Events. Those are shows which WWE asks fans to pay to see, but occasionally you will get something that is big enough without having to pay a dime. These shows are often quite good in their own right and now we have a better idea of when to expect it.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Out There: WWE Reportedly Planning To Let More Wrestlers Appear Elsewhere In 2025
WWE has announced that the second installment of Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on January 25, 2025 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. That puts the show only a week before the Royal Rumble. This will be just over a month after the first episode, which is set to air on December 14, 2024. There is no word on any wrestlers or matches for the show.

Opinion: That is quite the rapid fire turnaround and I’m not sure how well it is going to go with the short time between the first and second shows. That’s on top of the second show being right before the Royal Rumble, which isn’t going to make things any easier. Hopefully WWE has something special planned for the show, as they are going to need to get off to the best possible start to the show’s new run.
