It’s On: WWE Confirms Major Grudge Match For Monday Night Raw’s Debut On Netflix

That’s a big one. There are all kinds of rivalries in wrestling and many of them come back to the same concepts over and over. One of the most common that you will see is a personal story between members of the same family, which adds a degree of closeness that you cannot fake. WWE is in the middle of one of those feuds at the moment and now we are going to see a major match in the story.

This week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns challenged Solo Sikoa to Tribal Combat on the January 6, 2025 Monday Night Raw for both respect and for the title of Tribal Chief. This weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE announced that the match was official and will take place. Sikoa has yet to comment on the match. This is the first match officially set for the show.

Opinion: The match being made official isn’t the biggest surprise but what matters is this feels like it could be the close of the Bloodline Civil War, or at least a major turning point in the whole thing. Reigns vs. Sikoa one on one is one of the matches that we have not yet seen and it should make for a major showdown now that it is finally taking place. I’m curious to see where this goes, as there almost has to be some kind of a major swerve.
