Now on the card. We are less than three weeks away from Summerslam and that means it is time to start getting the card ready. While there are some matches already set, there are some that seem ready but are yet to be made official. It can be an exciting moment when one of those matches is made, which is what we saw this week, with a grudge match for a title being set.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Yes Her: Surprise Name Set For Upcoming WWE Live Tour
This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with Rhea Ripley calling out WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. While Morgan only appeared on the video screen, Ripley challenged her for the title match at Summerslam. Morgan accepted and the match was officially made. This will be Ripley’s first match since April, when she was put out with a shoulder injury at Morgan’s hands. Summerslam is set for August 3 in Cleveland.
This is a big one. Check out how the match was set up and how we got here:
Opinion: This is where the story almost always had to go and that is not a bad thing. Ripley is going to want to get her revenge on Morgan and her title back, but the Dominik Mysterio factor is going to be a big wild card. I want to see where the story goes and they have set things up for a rather entertaining situation. Now just make the match itself work and it should all work.
