It’s His Thing: Interesting Detail On Jon Moxley And AEW’s Death Riders Storyline

He’s in charge. There are all kinds of storylines taking place in any given wrestling promotion and some of them are a bit different than the norm. You will occasionally see someone involved in a storyline getting to have their own personal touch on a story. That can make for an interesting setup and that is what we are seeing in AEW at the top of the promotion.

The top story in AEW in recent months has been Jon Moxley and his Death Riders stable. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the idea behind the story has primarily been from Moxley himself, with President Tony Khan overseeing the story, as he does with most angles. Moxley though is the one overseeing everything and is coming up with the lines he is using in the promos.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as you can definitely feel Moxley’s passion in everything that he is saying and doing. That isn’t something you can fake having most of the time and it is making for the biggest story in AEW at the moment. You do not often see this kind of hands on interaction with a storyline and it has made a strong difference so far in what we are seeing.
