He’s back. There are certain wrestlers who have reached an iconic status to the point where they are going to be around for a very long time after their in-ring careers come to an end. These legends are going to be used for a variety of tasks, often involving hyping up shows as a special attraction. That might be what we are going to be seeing with one of the biggest names in wrestling history.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Going There: WWE Likely To Announce Royal Rumble 2026 For Saudi Arabia

This week on SmackDown, Hulk Hogan appeared in an advertisement for this month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event from San Antonio, Texas. Last month’s edition focused on the nostalgic appeal of the show and featured appearances from various legends. There is nothing to indicate that Hogan will actually appear on the show. Saturday Night’s Main Event is set for January 25.

He’s been on the show. Check out Hogan’s time on Saturday Night’s Main Event:

Opinion: This is hardly a big surprise, as while hogan has done more than a few controversial things, he is still one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling. If WWE wants to hype up the show as a flashback to the 1980s, having Hogan around is pretty much required. It might not go so well, but it would not surprise me to see him show up on the show in some fashion.
