He’s #1. There are all kinds of things that go into a wrestling show but ultimately, the most important thing is what happens between the ropes. Without the actual wrestling, all you would have is talking about matches that are not going to happen. It can mean a lot to have someone who gets in the ring on a regular basis and now we know who was on the most basis last year.

According to Wrestlingnews, Cody Rhodes was the most active wrestler in WWE in 2023, wrestling 113 matches. Rhodes won the men’s Royal Rumble in January and went on to lose to Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 39. He was one of four wrestlers to break 100 matches over the course of the year, joining (in descending order) Dominik Mysterio, Seth Rollins and Damian Priest.

Opinion: This is where Rhodes tends to shine, as he is the kind of wrestler who can be out there on such a regular basis and feel like a star. Rhodes is one of the biggest names in WWE and having him around is a valuable thing for the company. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Rhodes becoming an even bigger star in the company going forward, and this is one of the reasons why.
