Plans change? With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be hard to keep track of all of them. When you throw in the amount of wrestlers who have been let go from the company this year, things get all the more confusing. There are going to be some who catch your attention a bit more than others, but one of them might be on the way to a new home.

Back on April 30, Daniel Bryan lost to Roman Reigns, forcing him to leave SmackDown. Bryan’s WWE contract has since expired, making him a free agent who has yet to hire anyone. According to PWInsider.com, Bryan is not listed on any internal WWE roster and is not expected to be included as a part of the upcoming Mattel action figure line. This could be a sign of something bigger.

Bryan has not been mentioned backstage whatsoever lately, which has led some sources to believe that Bryan is either planning to sign or will sign with AEW. This is just speculation at the moment and there is nothing to guarantee that this is the case. AEW has made no mention of Bryan, though they would want to keep him as a surprise at all costs. Bryan has worked for WWE since 2010.

This is certainly an option. Check out what might be coming to AEW:

FULL MATCH - “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan – Universal Title Strap Match: Royal Rumble 2020

FULL MATCH - Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan - Champion vs. Champion Match: Survivor Series 2018

Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H - WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Raw, April 7, 2014

Opinion: This would not be the biggest surprise as Bryan is going to be a star no matter where he goes. He is as talented as anyone has been in a very long time and AEW would do whatever it took to sign him. That being said, Bryan might wind up staying with WWE and there is really no bad choice for him in this case. Either way, it should be fun to see what happens and that is what makes this feel special.
