That’s one way to do it. There are different ways to present a wrestling match and some of them involve changes that fans are not going to notice. Certain parts of the match are only going to be able to be felt by the people involved in the match itself, which may not always be the best thing. That was the case this week during the main event of Monday Night Raw, which was a bit more intense than it seemed.
According to PWInsider.com, Monday’s match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston was said to have been in a “pretty stiff manner” as the two wanted to get the match’s importance across. This included a superkick to McIntyre, which left a bruise above his right eye. There is nothing to suggest any issues about the match of the match between the two of them.
The two met in a rematch from the previous week’s #1 contenders match, which resulted in a double disqualification. As a result, the two needed to meet again in another #1 contenders match. McIntyre went on to win the match, earning himself a shot against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at Hell In A Cell on June 20. There is no word on what is next for Kingston.
Congrats @DMcIntyreWWE. You earned it. Respect. ??

They have done this pretty well. Check out both of their matches:
Opinion: You really could feel the energy in the match as both guys were working especially hard to get into the title picture again. That is the kind of thing that you do not get to see very often and it worked well here. Both guys beat on each other and it felt like they would do anything to move on to the title match. I could go for more of this and hopefully we see it again soon.
