Interesting Note On How WWE Views Jim Cornette And A Possible Hall Of Fame Induction

Why not him? There have been a variety of people throughout the WWE’s history and some of them have not been around for a very long time. That does not mean they are completely forgotten as there will almost always be fans who remember someone in one way or another. Now we know a bit more about what WWE thinks of one of the most controversial names in company history.

Fightful Select was asked about WWE’s thoughts about Jim Cornette in regards to possibly being inducted into the Hall Of Fame. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Cornette’s name has not been mentioned in WWE in years, though this is not due to any issues between the two sides. Instead, Cornette is believed to be content to host his podcasts and work on other projects and not interested to work with WWE. There is no word on if Cornette was willing to work with WWE if they offered. He last appeared for WWE in 2017, inducting the Rock N Roll Express into the Hall Of Fame.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as Cornette has been away from WWE for a rather long time and seems happy to be so. It would not stun me to see him show up for something that honors history down the line, but that is far from guaranteed. Cornette is someone whose legacy is well established and appearing for WWE one more time is far from needed.
