That’s some serious dedication. WWE programming, including Monday Night Raw, has looked very different as of late and that is going to be the case for a long time to come. With virtually everything being on lock down, WWE is having to run their television shows out of the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. As a result, the shows have been very different, but some people have been around. That was the case on Monday, albeit with a very interesting detail.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured an appearance by Edge, who addressed his recent issues with Randy Orton. The two have been feuding for about two months now after a long history between them over a good chunk of their careers. Things have picked up again and they seem to be on a collision course for WrestleMania. However, Edge had a long road to get to this week’s show.

After Edge was done with his promo on this week’s show, his wife Beth Phoenix sent out a tweet saying that Edge had driven seventeen hours to get to the show due to travel problems. On Sunday afternoon, Edge had sent out a tweet of his own, mentioning that he was in his truck on the way to Monday Night Raw. It is not clear when Edge will appear on the show again.

It was worth the trip. Check out Edge’s promo on Monday Night Raw:

Opinion: This is one of those stories that just sounds cool no matter how you look at it. It takes some serious dedication to drive that far for what wound up being an appearance that didn’t even last ten minutes. The segment could have been filmed elsewhere, but it was better because it was done in the arena and that’s the difference that the effort makes. With the WWE in the situation it is in at the moment, they need all the help they can get and Edge showed that on Monday.
