If that’s how you see it. Sometimes it can be difficult to keep things straight in wrestling, including which side some wrestlers are on. With so many names out there and so many of them who are great at doing things a certain way, it can be easy to see someone become a babyface or a heel right in front of your eyes. That seems to be the case in WWE, but it may not actually be true.

According to PWInsider.com, AJ Styles and Omos are still listed as heels backstage in WWE, despite Styles wrestling against Elias during this week’s Monday Night Raw. Styles lost the match via disqualification when Jaxson Ryker interfered and was stalked to the back by Omos. Styles and Omos won the Raw Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 37 in their first match as a team.

It was a busy night. Check out the match and the fallout:

AJ Styles vs. Elias: Raw, May 17, 2021

AJ Styles & Omos are willing to play Elias & Ryker’s game: WWE Network Exclusive, May 17, 2021

Opinion: This is one of those situations where we might be waiting around for the big turn, as Styles and Omos have been wrestling more and more like good guys for weeks now. It would make sense to have them do the switch sooner rather than later but it makes sense to let them get there on their own instead of hotshotting everything. It helps that Styles is more than talented enough to make the whole thing work.

If nothing else, it says a lot about how effective the team has been so far if the fans as well as WWE seem interested in changing things up so fast. Styles is someone who will almost always be turned one day because he is so talented at everything he does. The fans are going to appreciate that and they seem to have done so again, which could make things interesting.

What do you think of the team? Will they be turned soon? Let us know in the comments below.
