That would be a different way to go. Roman Reigns has dominated WWE for over two years as part of one of the longest World Title reigns in company history. Reigns has dispatched one challenger after another and there is nothing to suggest that he is going to be slowing down anytime soon. Now a wrestling legend has an idea for a pretty unique challenger who could give Reigns trouble.

During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, former WWE and ECW star Tommy Dreamer spoke about Gunther defeating Rey Mysterio to retain the Intercontinental Title last week on SmackDown. Dreamer went on to suggest that Gunther be the man to dethrone Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania. There is no word on if WWE is considering going in this direction.

Opinion: While I don’t know about Gunther being the one to take the title from Reigns, a Gunther vs. Reigns match would certainly be worth looking at. Reigns rarely meets someone who can match if not exceed him in size and impact and Gunther could very well fight that description. It would be a heck of a fight and that might be just what WWE is looking for in Reigns’ case.

What do you think of the idea? Who will take the title from Reigns? Let us know in the comments below.
