Then Instead? Major Update On The Rock vs. Roman Reigns, Possibly Taking Place Outside WrestleMania

They teased something. Every so often, a major match is teased in one way or another, either through actions or words, which will result in the audience wanting to see it happen. It might take time to set it up, but what matters at the end of the day is that you get to see it take place. That very well might be the case again with one of the biggest matches of the year.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Still Going: Injury Update On Missing Former AEW Champion

Back on January 1, the Rock made a surprise return to WWE and hinted at a future match against Roman Reigns. Other than Reigns brushing off the Rock’s statement, there has been no progress towards the match taking place. According to Wresting Observer Radio, the plan is still for the match to happen this year, but there is no word on when or where it will take place.

Opinion: As soon as Rock said the line about the Head Of The Table, it seemed like a countdown clock was on. At the same time though, it only seemed to be taking place at WrestleMania but maybe that won’t be the case. Other than a big time match in Saudi Arabia, or maybe at Summerslam, I’m not sure where else it could happen. Either way, the fact that it seems likely to happen is quite the good thing.
