So maybe not? For a variety of reasons, there have been a few names missing from WWE since WrestleMania 35. Some people have been unhappy and trying to negotiate some changes in their status, but one of them has been on the injured list. The question was whether he would ever come off the injured list, and now we have an insider’s take on the story.

Drew McIntyre was a guest on TalkSport where he was asked about Sheamus’ status and future. McIntyre said that he hopes to see Sheamus go on and win several more championships, while also saying that fans shouldn’t believe everything they read on the internet. Recent reports have said that Sheamus may be forced to retire due to his spinal stenosis, which has ended several careers before, including Edge.

McIntyre had a lot to say. Check out his statement on Sheamus:

Sheamus and McIntyre do have a history together. Check out this match between the two of them that you may have forgotten:

Opinion: I can believe that not all injury reports are accurate, though I’m curious about where Sheamus is. Maybe he is hurt and doesn’t want people to know about it or maybe he isn’t hurt at all and has something else going on. Either way, I’d like to see him back in the ring as he is one of the more dependable stars on the roster. Hopefully McIntyre is right and he isn’t done, because it would be a loss to wrestling fans.

What do you think of Sheamus? Will he wrestle for WWE again? Let us know in the comments below.
