It happens to everyone. Sometimes a wrestler is going to get hurt and there is almost no way around it. An injury can be one of the scariest things for a wrestler as they can come out of nowhere and despite all of the training in the world, there is no way to be completely immune to them. Every wrestler is going to get hurt at some point and that seems to be the case for an NXT star.

One of the interesting things that has been taking place over the course of the year in WWE is the introduction of some new faces. After Evolve Wrestling went out of business and was purchased by WWE, several new names have begun to appear. This is the kind of thing that can help restock some shelves in a hurry but now one of those wrestlers is going back on the shelf.

According to Fightful Select, NXT’s Arturo Ruas was injured during his match with Kushida during this week’s television show. Ruas injured his bicep, but it is not clear how long he is going to be out of action. This was Ruas’ first major appearance since taking part in Raw Underground earlier this year. Ruas was expected to be part of the roster going forward, though it is not clear what he was going to be doing had he not been injured.

He had a heck of a match before getting hurt. Check out Ruas vs. Kushida:

Opinion: Ruas is someone who hasn’t gotten to showcase himself all that well yet and hopefully this is just a slight setback. It is nice to have someone who has a different enough style that allows them to stand out and that is what Ruas offers. I’m not sure what is next for him, but hopefully we get to see him back in the ring sooner rather than later, as that kind of delay can have a bad impact on someone.

What do you think of Ruas? What should he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
