Injury Takes Place On This Week’s NXT

Oh no. Injuries can happen at any time and you never know when you are going to see something bad happen. On occasion, you are going to see one injury after another because the injury bug is biting hard. That is the case at the moment throughout WWE and NXT, which can cause a lot of problems in a hurry. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case again this week.

The end of last Sunday’s NXT Takeover: 31 was one of the more intriguing moments of the show as Ridge Holland showed up with Adam Cole unconscious on his shoulder. Holland dropped what was left of Cole over the barricade, seemingly making himself the new big monster of NXT. This came after Holland had been presented as a new monster, but then everything changed.

During this week’s NXT, Holland defeated Danny Burch in a match. After the match was over, Holland attacked Burch again, drawing out Oney Lorcan for a save. Lorcan dove onto Holland, whose leg buckled underneath him. Holland was immediately taken out on a stretcher, from which he gave a thumbs up sign. There is no word on the severity of Holland’s injury or how long he will be out of action.

Opinion: That’s horrible to hear and there is no way around it. Holland’s leg just went out from underneath him and that could be a very bad thing in the future. All that matters at the moment is Holland’s health and right now all we can do is wait to find out how bad things is. Holland is someone who could be a top star in NXT in a hurry but right now, that could be on a long delay.
