Injured WWE Superstar May Be Returning Far Earlier Than Expected

That’s early. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and occasionally someone is going to be out of action for a rather long time. Some injuries can be rather serious and unfortunately they can shake up a wrestler’s career for months at a time. That was the case last year with a WWE Superstar but now he might be on his way back to the ring a lot sooner than expected.

Back in September 2024, Ilja Dragunov suffered a torn ACL which was expected to put him on the sidelines for 6-9 months. However, according to Fightful Select by way of 411mania.com, Dragunov was seen at the WWE Performance Center training in the ring recently. The training was described as traditional training rather than rehabbing an injury. There is no word on when Dragunov is expected to return to the ring or WWE TV.

Opinion: This would be quit the surprise and a great thing to see if it is going to happen that soon. Dragunov should be out of action a heck of a lot longer than this, and while he might not be back in the ring just yet, at least he is already back at the training, which is more than most would have expected. Dragunov is a heck of a star and having him back would be a great boost for any show.
