It’s a big one. The Coronavirus pandemic is still going strong, but things have changed a little bit over the last few months. Above all else, some restrictions have been lifted, meaning that people have been able to take in some more entertainment options. This includes WWE events, as fans have been let back in for another a month now. We now know where one of the biggest events of the year will be taking place.
WWE has released the rest of their live event schedule for the remainder of the year. This includes the announcement that Survivor Series will be held at the Barclays Center in New York City New York on Sunday, November 21. The Barclays Center had been rumored as the location for the show but nothing had been officially announced. This will mark the fourth time Survivor Series has taken place in New York City, following 1996, 2002 and 2011.
The city has done well before. Check out how New York City has handled Survivor Series in the past:
Opinion: I don’t think there is a ton of surprise to this announcement but it is still nice to know where the show will be taking place. That is the kind of show that might be a bigger deal due to where it is being held and that could be a good thing for WWE. The company could use a few more shots in the arm and a huge show in New York City for one of their more important events could offer just that.
