The next big change. In a year of all kinds of stories taking place, one of the biggest from a wrestling standpoint has been WWE releasing dozens of wrestlers at once. While that is a story in and of itself, the other half of the story is finding out who will be going anywhere. That question was delayed because of the wrestlers’ no compete clauses, but the clock is about to stop ticking.

There are all kinds of wrestling promotions outside of WWE and some of them have some very nice television or streaming deals. That can be very attractive for a lot of wrestlers and some of them are going to receive a rather nice set of offers. If they find something they like, we will be seeing them again soon. The time for waiting on this is almost over and now things are going to get interesting.

According to 411mania.com, the WWE wrestlers who were released from April 15-17 will be able to appear for major promotions starting this week, as their 90 day no compete clauses will expire. This would allow wrestlers to appear at the next AEW tapings or Saturday’s Impact Wrestling Slammiversary pay per view. This only applies to main roster wrestlers, as NXT wrestlers were already allowed to sign elsewhere due to different clauses.

Some of these names will be available. Check out some of the bigger talents on the market:

Opinion: This is where things get interesting as we can now find out what the future holds for all of them. That is the interesting part to go along with the sad part of seeing a lot of the wrestlers released. While several of these wrestlers are not going to have the best time after leaving WWE, some companies are going to get some rather nice additions to their rosters.
