On February 1, WWE will be presenting the Royal Rumble at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. According to PWInsider.com, WWE is planning having a “top” TNA star appear at the show. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry is currently advertised for a signing at WrestleCon in the city the weekend of the event. Hendry had previously been advertised for Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager At Sea cruise but is now scheduled to join the second half of the cruise, which will be after the Royal Rumble. It should be noted that Hendry is NOT confirmed for the show and this is purely speculation at the moment.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes the Royal Rumble so much fun, as there is the chance that someone like Hendry could make a special appearance. At the end of the day, Hendry is a hot commodity at the moment and WWE getting him to appear for something as big as the Royal Rumble could be amazing. For now though we’ll have to wait, as it could be quite the moment all around.
What do you think of the idea? How would Hendry do in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
