It’s a job. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler. Not only can they slow a wrestler down in the ring, but they can also put someone on the shelf for a long time. Some of them can be a lot more devastating than others and halt a wrestler’s progress in a hurry. That is the case with a top AEW star, but now he has something else going on behind the scenes.

According to PWInsider.com, Kenny Omega has been working behind the scene in AEW as a producer for some of the women’s division matches. This comes as Omega has been out of action since December, recovering from several surgeries and has not made an appearance on television since. There is no word on when he is expected to return to the ring or television in general.

Opinion: This is a good sign for Omega, as just getting to be back with AEW in some capacity is better than sitting at home doing nothing all day. Whether you’re an Omega fan or not, there is no denying how much of an influence he has had on AEW and that he is one of the biggest stars the company has. It will be a good thing to get him back, but at least he is getting to do something while he is gone.

What do you think of Omega? What should he do when he ges back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
