That’s a huge relief. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to suffer an injury and you never want to see anything like that happen. Someone can be in the middle of a match and be taken down in an instant, which unfortunately is what happened this week. It became a question of what would happen next and now we have a very important, and thankfully positive, update.
This week on AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page was injured in a match against Jon Moxley. Page was hit with a clothesline and landed on his head, resulting in the match being instantly stopped, with Page being taken out on a stretcher. AEW has posted an update on Twitter, saying that Page was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion and discharged. There is no word on how long Page will be out of action.

Opinion: The fact that Page was already discharged from the hospital, less than three hours after the injury took place, is a very positive sign. It could have been a much worse situation and the fact that it was only a concussion is somehow a huge relief. Page can now begin to recover and the fact that he is out of the hospital to do so is some of the best news I’ve heard all day.
