Violence draws. This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” was scheduled to be headlined by Barbed Wire Massacre 3 with LAX facing OVE. However PopTV wouldn’t approve the footage being shown on their network and the match was moved to Impact Wrestling’s Twitch channel. So how well did the show draw without its main event?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .07 rating and 309,000 fans. These numbers are up 17% and 11% respectively and the same totals as two weeks ago when the show featured four title matches. There wasn’t a main event on this week’s episode due to the issue with airing Barbed Wire Massacre 3.

Opinion: This week’s numbers are higher, but I’m wondering how many people are going to be annoyed that they didn’t get to see the featured match without having to go over to the new Twitch channel instead. Next week’s show is a big one, but after that it’s off to a new taping cycle and that could mean anything. For now though, well done on the solid numbers.
