If You Don’t Smell? Major Update On The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 Status

Not there? We are coming up on the end of the year and that means it is time for WWE to start getting ready for the new year. This includes the Road To WrestleMania 41, which is set for April. The company has a lot of work to do before the show and in this case it seems that WWE is not going to have one of the biggest stars around available, as he has something else to do.

According to Chris Featherstone by way of Cagesideseats.com and later Confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp, the Rock is currently NOT expected to wrestle at WrestleMania 41. While there is still a chance that things could change, the current plans do not include the Rock and that has been the case for a long while. There is no word on if he will be able to appear on the show or in the build to it, but he is not likely to wrestle at the event. The Rock had previously suggested that he will be at the show, though he has never been officially advertised.

Opinion: This is quite the change of pace but still shouldn’t be the biggest surprise. The Rock has quite the career outside of wrestling and he is not going to be able to appear at a bunch of WWE events, as it takes quite a bit of effort. Hopefully he gets to return to the ring one day, but for now it does not seem like the Rock is going to be wrestling at the biggest show of next year.
