He has plans. There have been very few WWE Superstars to rise up like Jey Uso has over the last few years. Uso has gone from one of the better tag team wrestlers WWE has ever seen to a main eventer, both on his own and with his brother. That is quite the accomplishment, but there is more that he wants to do. Now we know a bit more about what he has planned.

Uso was interviewed by Billboard earlier this week and spoke about things he wants to accomplish in WWE. When asked about the first singles title he wants, Uso chose the Intercontinental Title, saying he wanted to hold the title like his father and uncle. This comes after Uso and reigning champion Gunther faced off for the first time ever in a singles match after a recent SmackDown.

Uso was also asked about his ideal opponent for next year’s WrestleMania 40 and said his brother Jimmy. Jey spoke about how the two of them have issues and have yet to face off, saying Jimmy is ducking him. He went on to say that if the match happens, it would be the biggest match and moment of his career. Jey also said that he hoped to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at some point.

Jey has been on a roll. Check out some of his recent efforts:

Opinion: This is the kind of interview that makes for a good look into what might be coming. WWE seems like they teasing a few things, including the possibility of Jey vs. Gunther, as they have at least had a match so far. Jey has done well as a singles star, but at some point he has to actually win something. That might be starting, and the idea of him having a showdown with Jimmy at WrestleMania is rather appealing.
