They have a plan. WWE is a rather large wrestling promotion and that means they are going to be needing to do some things to change the pace a bit. This can include some changes to some of their main television shows, which has been the case with NXT as of late. Now we know a bit more about WWE’s plans and how some more things may be changing soon.

Over the last few weeks, NXT has been undergoing various changes, with several wrestlers going to the main roster and some main roster stars coming down to NXT as well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE’s plan is to make NXT feel like a third brand. The idea is to us main roster talent to draw up interest, as well as make the show feel “unpredictable” with questions over who might show up. WWE is also said to be “encouraged” by NXT’s recent television ratings, with talks about taping outside of Orlando and live events outside of Florida, though nothing has been decided so far.

Opinion: WWE does seem to have an idea of what they want to do with NXT and it is nice to see that something is coming together. There is a lot of value in NXT and I’m really not sure why WWE lets them sit around doing nothing for such long stretches of time. Now things seem to be coming together a bit and if NXT can keep that going, they might be in for something big in the future.
