He Has An Idea: Former WWE Star Will Return If He Can Work With Rhea Ripley And Dominik Mysterio

On one condition. There have been so many wrestlers throughout WWE’s history that it is realistically impossible to remember them all. It helps a lot if someone does something memorable or stands out in any way, as those are the stars who will be remembered more quickly. Now one such star is pitching a return to the company, but under a very specific circumstance.

During a new interview with Hannibal TV (beginning at around 59:30), former WWE star James Ellsworth said he would be interested in a return to WWE to romantically pursue Rhea Ripley. Ellsworth felt that the fans would get interested at him for trying to steal Ripley from Dominik Mysterio and be entertained by the ensuing feud. Ellsworth has wrestled two stints with WWE, with his most recent run ending in 2018.

Opinion: While the odds of this are about as astronomical as you can get, there is something funny about imagining Ellsworth pursuing Ripley. If nothing else, Ripley’s reactions alone would be hilarious, as I can’t imagine her being interested. It’s worth a chuckle, and that is about what you have to expect from most storylines involving Ellsworth in the first place.
