What an interesting pairing. There are very few wrestlers in WWE history who have the level of respect that the Undertaker has reached. He has been around for the better part of thirty years and is still around every so often. It seems that he has been ready to retire for years now but he just keeps going. As it turns out, a current wrestler thinks that Undertaker should be gone and might be trying to do something about it.
On Saturday, Undertaker appeared as a special guest on ESPN’s College Gameday. A clip of the moment was posted on Twitter, with fellow WWE Superstar Sami Zayn responding with a message saying that he should do Undertaker a favor and take him out for good. There si no word on a potential match between the two of them, though Undertaker is scheduled to appear at this week’s SmackDown Live from Madison Square Garden.
Undertaker is still quite intimidating. Check out his College Gameday appearance:
Opinion: Given that Zayn is currently working with Shinsuke Nakamura, I can’t imagine this going anywhere on SmackDown Live. That being said, I do rather like the idea of Zayn vs. Undertaker (or Undertaker vs. Nakamura for that matter). Both would be something fresh and that is a concept that WWE could certainly use. Then again so is someone young beating Undertaker, though I can’t imagine that taking place.
