History has been made! We are officially in the new year and now we only have a few more stops to go on the Road To WrestleMania 38. The show is in about three months and there are all kinds of things that need to be done to get things ready. One of the biggest is setting up the title matches, and now one of the biggest changes might have been set in motion.
This weekend’s WWE Day One event featured a fatal five way main event with Brock Lesnar winning the WWE Title by pinning champion Big E. The match also included Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley. Lesnar was added to the match the night of the show after Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Lesnar’s original opponent, was forced out of the match due to testing positive for the Coronavirus.
Lesnar could be a force. Check out the title match, plus what else Lesnar can do:
Opinion: This was a bit of a surprise, but I can see the criticisms of having Lesnar as champion again. The good thing is that it opens the door for Lesnar vs. Lashley at the Royal Rumble, which should be an awesome showdown. The match itself was a lot of fun with nonstop action, but it was rather depressing seeing Big E. take the fall to end his reign. Maybe that is improved later, but I can’t picture it at the moment.
What do you think of the title change? How long will Lesnar hold the title? Let us know in the comments below.
