The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw FTR put their AEW careers on the line against the Gunns in exchange for a shot at the Tag Team Titles. FTR went on to defeat the Gunns, winning the titles for the second time. This comes amid reports that FTR’s AEW contracts are expiring soon, though there is no word on if the team has signed new deals with the company.

Opinion: That is the kind of feel good ending that the show needed, as FTR winning the titles feels very long overdue. What matters is getting things back where they belong, as FTR is now available to feud with a variety of different challengers around the company. Sometimes you need to just do what makes sense and take the easy win, which is what we saw here.
