Horrible: AEW Star Suffers Terrible Injury At Supercard Of Honor

That is terrible. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling, some of which might not be apparent to watching eyes. You might not see someone get hurt as the problems build up over time and are only revealed later. Other times though you know exactly what you are seeing right in front of you and unfortunately that is the case again, as an AEW star is horribly injured.

This week at Ring Of Honor Supercard Of Honor XVI, Dante Martin took part in the Reach For The Sky ladder match for the Tag Team Titles. Late in the match, Penta El Cero Miedo gave Martin a Canadian Destroyer from a ladder through a pile of tables at ringside. As Martin landed, his leg or ankle was injured, with his foot turning almost entirely around. While the nature of Martin’s injury is unknown, at the post show media scrum, Ring Of Honor owner Tony Khan said that Martin was at the hospital but did not know the severity of his injury. There is no word on how long Martin will be out of action.

Opinion: This is terrible to see and there isn’t much of a way to get around it. Martin is going to be out of action for a very long time and that is never good to see. At the end of the day, an injury that bad is a major problem and I’m not sure what it means for his career. Top Flight continues to be one of the most cursed teams in history and hopefully they get a chance for an actual run together.
