One down. AEW has quite the impressive roster with all kinds of names that can take the company a long way. It very well may be their greatest strength with some of the names they have to offer possibly being able to counter some of WWE’s top talent. That can make things a lot more interesting between the two companies, but one of them won’t be along for the ride.
According to 411mania.com, AEW CEO Tony Khan has announced that Kylie Rae has been released from her AEW contract. The announcement came during the post All Out media scrum, with Khan saying that Rae requested to be released from her deal. Rae only wrestled once for AEW and has not wrestled anywhere since June. She has also recently deleted her Twitter account and it is not clear why she wanted to leave the company.
She doesn’t have many highlights with the company. Check out her Double Or Nothing entrance:
Opinion: I’m not sure what to make about this but hopefully Rae just wanted to do something else rather than having a serious problem. I have no idea why she is leaving but it is a shame from a fan’s perspective as she certainly had some potential to be a star, at least on some sort of a level, in AEW. She was very entertaining over WrestleMania weekend and I wanted to see more of her. Hopefully she’ll be back someday, but if it’s better for her not to be, that’s what matters more.
