They’re back. There are all kinds of ways to present stars in wrestling and sometimes the best way is after a break. Occasionally a wrestler just needs some time away from the fans to get freshened up a bit and let something new come in. That can make for some very fun returns, and now we have seen a pair of them take place after it seemed that their time was done.

The Gunns retained the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a four way match at Revolution, defeating the Acclaimed, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen. Following the match, FTR returned to lay out the Gunns. This was the first AEW appearance for FTR since January, as the team had said they would be taking time off until their contracts expired in April. According to PWInsider.com, FTR is believed to have long term deals with AEW, with the hiatus being just part of a storyline.

Opinion: This was quite the surprise and it is very nice to have FTR back. They have been a highlight of AEW for a long time now and maybe finally they can get the titles back after they should have picked them up at some point last year. If nothing else, it gave the show a great moment as the fans came unglued for one of the most popular teams that AEW has ever had.
