On the job again. There are all kinds of people who work to put together any given wrestling show. You might no see them on television very frequently but they are often former wrestlers whose expertise can help younger stars. WWE has several such names and now one of them is back on the job ater a bit of a hiatus from his position earlier this month.

According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Michael Hayes has returned to his position as a WWE producer following a hiatus for personal reasons earlier this month. Hayes was back in his role this week at SmackDown. Bobby Roode had helped take the place of Hayes and Bruce Prichard, who was on a hiatus of his own. There is no word on if Roode’s role will be diminished now that Hayes has returned.

Opinion: Hayes being back is a nice bonus for the company as he has been around for a long time now and is likely a trusted voice backstage in WWE. At the same time, it would be nice for Roode, or someone like him, to be around as well. The company could use some fresh ideas backstage and Roode is someone who seems to have been doing a nice job in Hayes’ absence.
