This year, Monday Night Raw is set to air on Christmas night. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a WWE source is saying that the current plan is for the December 25 Monday Night Raw to be a Best Of show. The December 22 edition of SmackDown will be taped in advance.

Opinion: This is the best way to go as ultimately, not many people are going to be watching on Christmas night in the first place. At the same time, WWE has a long time to go before they get to the Royal Rumble anyway so burning off a show like this is not the worst idea in the world. It’s also nice to see WWE giving the roster a bit of a breather going into the holidays so they seem to be doing well.
