IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Double Back? WWE Reportedly Interested In Signing Former Star Who Currently Works For AEW

Over recent weeks, rumors have circulated that the Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) would be leaving AEW when their current contracts expired to move over to WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Penta is expected to leave AEW in about two months due to being unhappy with how he is being used in the promotion. However, Fenix is expected to be around AEW for another year, as AEW is planning to add time onto his contract due to injuries. There is no word on when his new edition o his contract would expire. It is also not clear if Penta would go on to WWE without Fenix.

This could go in a few directions. Check out the two together and apart:

Opinion: This is where things could get dicey, as this isn’t exactly the most wrestler friendly move from AEW. They are absolutely within their rights to do something like this, but it won’t make them the most popular company. That is something that AEW has benefited from throughout its history and changing it up could cause quite a few problems for evryone involved.

What do you think of the move? How should the team be used in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
