Welcome back. There are all kinds of stars on the AEW roster and they are an incredibly talented group. It can make a big difference when one of them leaves for a good while, especially if they are injured in one way or another. This can lead to some huge moments when someone returns after a lengthy absence and that is what took place to end the last big show of the year.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ring Of Honor Results – December 26, 2024
This weekend’s AEW Worlds End show ended with Jon Moxley successfully defending the World Title in a four way match. Following the match, Moxley and the Death Riders attacked Orange Cassidy, leading to FTR and Adam Copeland making the save. This marked Copeland’s first appearance since Double Or Nothing in May, when he was put on the shelf with a broken leg.
Copeland has been a big deal in AEW. Check out his time in the company:
Opinion: This was the big way to end the show and that is not a bad thing. At the end of the day, Moxley is going to need a big challenger and Copeland would certainly fit the bill. It was a big closing segment to the show and that was quite the surprise. Copeland is someone who can be put into the main event scene and that appears to be what we are seeing, which is not a bad idea.
What do you think of the idea? How do you see a Moxley vs. Copeland feud going? Let us know in the comments below.
